Please be careful what you ask for. The Universe has a wicked sense of humor and while I like a good joke, this one could have gone wrong in so many ways.
This year has been a year of firsts and boy did this week’s energy bring a doosey!
One morning in going thru my normal routine, I had been asked the simple question of what I would like. Granted the person asking was referring to coffee. However I failed to complete my thought and responded with “Surprise me.” Then came the after-thought … that could be a dangerous request.
Well, the coffee was just fine but the Universe had some other entertainment in mind to go along with it. Shortly after my co-worker brought coffee, another person came into my office and quite literally dropped their drawers…I won’t give details here as to why but it was not for devious reasons.
No, I did not make this up! While I remained as composed as I possibly could and requested the individual put their pants back on, I had to strain myself from laughing hysterically at what had happened. I laugh only because there was no ill intent in the action and it was a spontaneous event committed with innocent intent.
I was having one of those days when you just want to go home and start over.
After this one Universe, you win.
